These pages will give you all the information you need in order to sign up for the various events with Across the Pond Norway for the upcoming academic cycle.
Please watch this video before you sign up for any of the events:
For events with limited spacing, we will sign everyone up on a ‘first come, first served’ basis. So please sign up as soon as possible, and definitely before the deadline posted for each event. It's important that we know the total number of participants for each event by this date, so we can make sure we get all the equipment (chairs, tables etc.) and space needed at the venue booked in time.

We will alert all of our partners a few days prior to accepting sign-ups for the various events, and we will also send out a reminder on the day to let you know that registrations are now open. Please also note that we need to know as soon as possible who will be attending the events on the University's behalf, as we would like to send that person information on how to best prepare for the event. The more information we can get from you in advance will increase the value of your investment. E.g. if you are bringing an academic, we will be promoting that to the students ahead of time. So please let us know as soon as possible.

As you probably know if you’ve ever been out for a drink in Norway, it’s one of the most expensive countries in the world. Despite that fact, we do our best to keep event costs down as much as we possibly can. Destination Britain currently costs £900 which we know is pretty competitive compared to other events of its kind. Discover Britain is equally cost-effective at £400. It is really only the private January/February TaUtdanning recruitment fairs that require significant investment at £2,400 per city and again the way we organise our UK pavilion means you are guaranteed to get the best return on investment. These fairs can be a really lonely experience if you sign up separately and are on a stand by yourself.

We can never guarantee a successful event, but we do our best to make sure everyone will get as high return on investment as possible.
Obviously, every recruitment activity incurs a certain amount of risk but we’re happy to say that feedback from university participants has always been very good and of course, we take all post-event comments and suggestions very seriously. Please be sure to read the individual event pages regarding possible expectations at the options you are considering and ask if you are unsure about anything.
